From everyday aids to complex AT equipment, our AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapists assess your needs, trial appropriate technology, and prepare the clinical evidence your NDIS plan requires.
About AT Assessments
Assistive Technology (AT) includes any piece of equipment, tool or system that helps a person with disability to participate in daily life with greater independence, safety and confidence.
Under the NDIS, AT is funded across a spectrum from low-cost items (grab rails, bath seats) through to complex, custom-prescribed equipment (power wheelchairs, AAC devices, smart home technology).
For mid-range and complex AT, the NDIS requires a supporting assessment from a qualified health professional — typically an Occupational Therapist. Our OTs assess your functional needs, trial appropriate options, and prepare the clinical justification the NDIA requires for approval.
We review your referral and confirm the AT need, scope, budget category, and any existing equipment.
An in-home or clinical assessment to understand how your disability impacts daily function and what AT could support independence.
We source and trial appropriate AT options with you, assess fit and function, and identify the best solution for your needs.
We prepare a thorough AT report with clinical reasoning that meets NDIA evidence requirements for approval.
Equipment needs change. We're available for review assessments as your circumstances or NDIS plan evolves.

Clinical Standards
The NDIS requires AT assessments to be completed by qualified allied health professionals. AHPRA registration ensures your OT is accountable, insured and operating within a professional and ethical framework.
Our AT reports are prepared to meet NDIA evidence requirements — meaning clearly documented clinical reasoning, functional justification, and evidence of trialling where appropriate. We prepare reports that give your AT application the best possible chance of approval.
